The Elk Ridge ER-A004SW is an excellent every-day-carry knife, featuring a 3CR13 Black Stainless Steel 3mm thick blade, along with a built-in flipper, thumb stud, belt/pocket clip, lanyard hole, and a 4.75in Pakkawood handle. When the knife is in the closed position, the blade is held in place by torsion springs, and as the user applies manual pressure to the thumb stud, the mechanisms, such as the torsion spring, move along a track in the liner, rapidly rotating the blade into the open and locked position.

Pakkawood, also known as Staminawood, Colorwood, Dymondwood, and compreg, is a combination of hardwood layers and resins fused together under intense heat and pressure.
